Comparison of Andrew’s BBC interview with the current content of Epstein’s emails.

The latest disclosure of the Epstein files could lead to new scrutiny of claims made by then-Prince Andrew in a 2019 BBC Newsnight interview.

The BBC’s Sean Coughlan and Sarah Campbell interviewed Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and compared emails he believed the former prince had exchanged.

He is under increasing pressure from U.S. officials and the family of his prominent accuser, Virginia Giuffre, to testify in the United States about his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

The disgraced financier was convicted of procuring children for prostitution in 2008 and died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The BBC has contacted Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor for comment. He has previously denied any wrongdoing.
