Cuba confirms talks with US amid severe energy crisis
President Miguel Diaz-Canel said the Cuban government was in talks with the United States as an effective oil blockade imposed by the Trump administration continued to deepen Cuba’s energy crisis.
“At the same time that we are making a historic transformation in Venezuela, we are also looking forward to great changes on the horizon in Cuba. Cuba is at a dead end. They are at a very dead end. They have no money and no oil.”
