CurrentBody Neck Mask Review: Neck Lines & Crepey Skin

Last Updated on July 16, 2026 by Eve Dawes

This CurrentBody LED Neck Mask review covers my honest results after testing the LED Neck and Décolletage Mask, including before and after photos, pros and cons, and whether it’s worth the investment. One of the biggest anti-aging mistakes I’ve made and see other people make is spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars treating their face while completely neglecting their neck and chest. If you’ve started noticing neck lines, crepey skin or that your neck suddenly looks older than your face, this review is for you.

Your neck is often the first place that shows your age, before your face does. Crepiness, sagging skin, sun damage, and those horizontal lines from years of looking down at your phone (yes, tech neck is real) tend to creep in quietly while all the attention goes to your face. If you’ve already got a CurrentBody LED face mask, or you’re thinking about one, there’s a good chance you’ve wondered whether the CurrentBody LED neck mask is worth adding too. I get asked this constantly, so here’s my honest take after actually using the CurrentBody Skin LED Neck & Décolletage Mask specifically to target neck lines and crepey skin, not just my face. In this review I’m covering what’s actually in the box, the real clinical results, and whether I think it’s worth the investment.

I’ve been using CurrentBody’s LED devices for years and tested the neck and décolletage mask alongside their face mask as part of my ongoing routine. I also had in person education with CurrentBody directly. I bring professional beauty formulation training through Dawes Custom Cosmetics to every review I write. Before and after photos included. What Is the CurrentBody LED Neck Mask?

The CurrentBody LED Neck & Décolletage Mask is a wearable LED device built specifically to target neck lines, crepey skin, sagging, and sun damage, the signs of aging that show up on the neck and chest years before most people notice them on their face.

It’s the area most of us admit to neglecting in our skincare routine, I know I did, even though it ages just as fast, sometimes faster, than the face. The CurrentBody LED Neck Mask uses 229 LED bulbs across three clinically proven wavelengths: red (633nm) to boost collagen and smooth wrinkles, near infrared (830nm) to firm and brighten, and deep near infrared (1072nm) to target the more stubborn signs of aging deeper under the skin. It wraps around the neck and decolleté with adjustable straps and runs one preset 10 minute treatment per session with an auto on and off. It’s also wireless, so you don’t have to sit plugged in to a socket, you can get on with your life.

CurrentBody LED Neck Mask Unboxing: What’s in the Box

Your CurrentBody LED neck mask arrives with:

  • The CurrentBody Neck & Décolletage Mask itself with controller
  • NFC Veritace card to verify your device passed individual quality testing
  • Two multi straps (which also means you can wear the device on your back, lower chest, or stomach, not just your neck)
  • USB-C charging cable
  • Storage bag
  • User manual

How to Use the CurrentBody LED Neck and Décolletage Mask

Charge the mask fully before your first use using the included USB-C cable, the light turns solid white once it’s fully charged. Wrap it around your neck and upper chest, securing it with the straps so it sits snugly without gaping. Press and hold the controller button to start, and the treatment runs automatically for the full 10 minutes before switching off on its own, since that’s the length CurrentBody found optimal for results.

One of the things I actually really like about this device is that I can use it at the same time as my LED face mask. It’s also hands free so you can multitask. I’ve watched TV, done emails, and even done the dishes while wearing mine. I’ve even used it on the airplane.

Can You Use the Neck Mask and Face Mask Together?

Yes, and this is one of the more useful things about the CurrentBody system: the neck and décolletage mask can be worn at the same time as the Series 2 face mask, so you can treat both areas in a single 10 minute session rather than doing two separate ones. If you’re already using the CurrentBody LED face mask Series 2, adding the neck mask means treating the areas your face routine skips entirely, which matters since your neck and chest get just as much sun exposure and show fine lines and crepiness just as easily.

Does the CurrentBody LED Neck Mask Fix Neck Lines and Crepey Skin? The Clinical Results and My Before and After

CurrentBody’s own independent testing (a 56 day dermatological study on 30 women aged 40 to 55) found real, measurable changes in the neck and décolletage area: skin hydration up 31.1%, water loss down 14%, firmness improved by over 12%, and elasticity up nearly 13%. CurrentBody also states red light therapy reduces wrinkles by 30% and improves plumpness by 57% within 8 weeks, alongside a 27% increase in skin brightness.

However, not one to just go off of clinical results, I wanted to check my own experience and before and after results line up with that data. It’s not a quick fix and results come slowly with consistent use, however, the texture across my neck definitely feels smoother, the crepey skin is noticeably less visible, and the tone across my chest has evened out. The biggest improvement I’ve seen is the M lines I had above the top of my cleavage.

I still need work on my sun spots which have built up over the years and because however much sunscreen I use, I live in the desert and am always getting sun exposure. The horizontal neck lines that make a neck look years older than the face above it also look visibly softer than when I started. It’s not a one and done device, you need to keep using it to maintain results.

Is the CurrentBody LED Neck Mask Comfortable?

Yes, it’s easy to get the fit right. The adjustable straps mean you can secure it around your neck and chest without it feeling restrictive. It doesn’t need to be snug to work, I did check with CurrentBody, it’s perfectly fine being loose. And being hands free for the full 10 minutes makes it easy to just fold it into an existing routine, like reading, watching TV, or catching up on messages.

Where to Buy the CurrentBody LED Neck Mask and Save

The CurrentBody LED Neck & Décolletage Mask is available directly from CurrentBody, either on its own, bundled as the Series 2 Face & Neck Kit, or paired with hydrogel neck and décolletage masks. Use my exclusive discount code GLAMOURCB for 10% off sitewide, which works on the neck mask, the face mask, and their skincare devices. If you’re deciding between buying it alone or as part of the Face & Neck Kit, it’s worth checking current bundle pricing, since buying both together is often better value than purchasing separately later.

Does the CurrentBody LED Neck Mask Work for Tech Neck?

Yes, it can help improve the appearance of “tech neck,” although it won’t change your posture or completely eliminate deep lines overnight. Tech neck refers to the horizontal lines and wrinkles that develop on the neck from repeatedly looking down at our phones, laptops and other devices, combined with the natural loss of collagen that comes with aging.

The CurrentBody LED Neck and Décolletage Mask uses clinically proven red and near-infrared light wavelengths to stimulate collagen production, helping to improve skin firmness, texture and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time. This can make neck lines appear softer and less noticeable with consistent use.

If your tech neck is caused by a combination of aging, sun damage and repeated movements from looking down at screens, LED light therapy can be a great addition to your anti-aging routine. However, the best results will come from taking a holistic approach by:

  • Using SPF daily on your neck and chest.
  • Improving your posture when using your phone or laptop.
  • Staying consistent with your LED treatments (3-5 times per week).
  • Applying your anti-aging skincare products to your neck as well as your face.
  • Treating your neck proactively before lines become deeper and more pronounced.

In my opinion, one of the biggest beauty mistakes people make is spending hundreds of dollars on their face while completely neglecting their neck and chest. If you’ve started noticing horizontal neck lines when looking in the mirror or in photos, the CurrentBody LED Neck Mask is one of the easiest ways to start treating the area consistently at home.

Is the CurrentBody LED Neck Mask Worth It? My Honest Verdict

If you’re already investing in anti-aging skincare and devices, I genuinely think your neck deserves just as much attention as your face. It’s one of the first places to show signs of aging and one of the most commonly neglected. So if your neck lines and crepey skin are what’s actually bothering you when you look in the mirror, yes, the neck and décolletage mask is worth adding. Your neck and chest are exposed to the same sun damage and collagen loss as your face, but rarely get the same skincare attention and give our age away.

I’m actually a huge believer in red light therapy. I used it first to try and heal my face after a too intense Plasma Pen treatment before getting into the LED face and neck masks and even the red light therapy helmet. While the CurrentBody LED Neck and Décolletage Mask isn’t inexpensive, it’s comfortable to wear, easy to incorporate into your routine and a great option for treating both the neck and chest at home. Especially since you can wear it alongside the face mask rather than needing a separate session.

It won’t replace your LED face mask, the two work together rather than one substituting for the other, but if you’re only going to treat one additional area beyond your face, your neck and chest is the one dermatologists consistently point to as the most neglected and most visible with age.

CurrentBody recommends 3 to 5 times a week for the full 10 minute session, with most people seeing visible results within 4 to 6 weeks.

Can I use the CurrentBody Face Mask and Neck Mask together?

Yes. In fact, I recommend using both together if you’re investing in LED light therapy, as there’s little point treating your face and neglecting your neck and chest.

Does the CurrentBody Neck Mask help neck wrinkles, lines and crepey skin?

Yes, CurrentBody’s own 56 day independent clinical study found meaningful improvements in the neck and décolletage area, including a 31.1% increase in skin hydration, a 12% improvement in firmness, and nearly 13% improvement in elasticity, and my own experience lines up with those results. It was designed to target signs of aging such as horizontal neck lines, crepey skin and loss of firmness.

While it won’t correct poor posture, consistent LED treatments can help soften the visible signs of tech neck and improve the overall appearance of aging skin on the neck and chest.

Can you use the CurrentBody neck mask and face mask together?

Yes, I do. Both devices can be worn at the same time, so you can treat your face and neck in a single session rather than doing two separate ones.
