Dalton Smith will get a world title before considering all British matches with rival ADAM Azim.
Sheffield’s smith is not a challenger in the WBC belt, but you have to wait for Alberto Puello to defend the world championship with Subriel Matias in New York on July 12.
Smith’s next fight is still confirmed. “There is nothing yet. We want to get the world title next month. I think there should be news next month.” Sky Sports.
“That’s the main focus. I am in the first place. I fought twice this year, so that’s what I want.”
Smith was at the Oakwell Stadium at the corner of Thomas Essomba, a gym fellow on Saturday night. Azim was due to the box of the bill. After his opponent Elliott Chavez was drawn from the card, his fight was canceled.
Chavez of Mexico refused to permit a box.
But Smith was not disappointed to miss the intersection with Azim last weekend.
“It would have been a night of Adam’s fight at the end of the day. I would not be rude to pay attention when he fought. But his fights have collapsed.”
But he added: “Our time will come.”
He insisted that the fight would happen, but Azim said: “I need two in tango. I was there in Tango. But now I’m taking them.”
He does not expect that the summer confrontation with Azim will be his next competition.
Smith said, “If you get a world title, the fight will be there.”
