Delta begins to fly between Los Angeles and Melbourne next year.
The three weekly service starts on December 3rd and joins Lax-Sydney and seasonal Lax-Brisbane flights throughout the year.
Delta will run a route with Airbus A350-900 with business, premium economy and economy cabin. The airline competes with United and Qantas on the Lax-Melbourne route.
Delta’s service means that each of the three major airline allies will fly between Los Angeles and Melbourne. Delta is located in Qantas in SKYTEAM and OneWORLD and unites Star Alliance.
