For years, our subscribers have asked how they can receive a certificate after completing a class. We listened and introduced the University of Fashion Certificate of Completion program in 2022. Since then, thousands of paying subscribers have obtained their certificates at no additional cost. Are you one of them?
While traditional fashion schools can cost thousands of dollars, those in the know know that the University of Fashion offers access to many of the same instructors and classes offered at top institutions like FIT and Parsons. With over 525 lessons available, you can build your skills and earn certification on your own schedule.
Is there a cost?
There is no additional cost for the University of Fashion Certificate. If you are a monthly or annual paid subscriber and have completed a course, you will automatically receive a certificate.

Earning a certificate is more than just a milestone. This is a valuable professional asset. Here are a few ways you can use your University of Fashion certificate:
Present this to your prospective employer along with examples of your design, draping, drafting or sewing work.
Include it in your portfolio for job applications or college admissions.
Frame it to show your customers your expertise across multiple disciplines.
Please share with your instructor to support your request for additional credit.
Show employers that you’ve developed new skills in areas like 3D design, AI, adaptive fashion, or sustainability.
Provides proof of subject matter proficiency for training or curriculum development opportunities.
How does it work?

Paid subscribers can track their individual progress toward earning their certificate by clicking: my learning It’s on the left side of your account page.
From the My Learning page, you can:
- Check out all the certificates you have earned.
- Check out the titles of the courses you’re currently watching but haven’t completed yet.
- Download, print, or email your certificate to someone else.
- Download, print, email or post to social media a summary of your certifications to date.
