Disney Cruise Line Delayed Singapore Disney Adventure Debut: Travel Weekly

Disney Cruise Line announced that it withdrew its debut in Singapore from December 15 to March 10 due to unexpected shipyard delays.

Disney sent a letter to the customer, “This ship represents a bold new chapter of the Disney cruise line, changing partially built ships to a completely repaid Disney experience.

“We had an unexpected delay in the Joseon process when we brought this life. All details made a decision that was difficult to postpone Disney Adventure’s virgin voyage to March 10 to meet Disney’s high standards.”

This ship was originally sailed as a global dream of Dream Cruises owned by Genting Hong Kong. But Genting Hong Kong went bankrupt in 2022 and stopped business. Disney bought a ship from the liquidator, and Germany’s Meyer Werft Yard continued to build a new specification of Disney and the new name Disney Adventure.

The ship completed the first sea test set earlier this month.

Originally booked virgin voyage, guests are transferred to a 50% discount on the fee. If the guest cannot sail on the date, you can request a full refund and apply a 50% discount to the cruise in the future.

The guests of other canceled cruises will receive an automatic refund of the original payment method and a 50% discount on future cruises. Credit must be used for navigating March 31, 2027 or before, by March 31.
