Disney Cruise Line expands sailings to the Bahamas and Caribbean for summer 2027

Disney Cruise Line is expanding its Bahamas and Caribbean lineup for summer 2027, adding shorter vacations and longer Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.

Disney Dream will return to Port Canaveral in summer 2027, sailing three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas. The sailing includes stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Disney’s newest private destination in the Bahamas.

It comes as the cruise line is planning its first cruise trip to the Dominican Republic, as Caribbean Journal reported.

Additionally, Disney Fantasy, sailing from Port Canaveral, will continue to offer four- and five-night itineraries to the Bahamas and select Caribbean ports. The ship will also operate 10-night Southern Caribbean sailings during the summer season for travelers looking for a longer cruise option.

Disney Treasure will continue to sail seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, with Disney highlighting the ship’s onboard entertainment and dining and visits to destinations throughout the region.

From Fort Lauderdale, Disney Destiny will continue sailing three-, four- and five-night itineraries to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The ship will also operate four seven-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Some sailings include stops at Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Disney Cruise Line has steadily expanded its presence in the region, keeping private island destinations a central part of its Bahamas strategy.
