My older children passed the play on the bathtub stage, but the children liked to soak in the bathtub when they were young. I like to relax myself by taking EPSOM salt baths! This is fun and DIY bath paint is a noxious way of confusion while the children are clean.
Most children like to draw with brushes and fingers. This is a good way to express creativity without having to take a bath. Just do it at the same time.
What is a bath paint?
Bath paint is simply painted for a shower or bath surround (tile or glass fiber). They are fun to use during the bath time and wash off when they are complete. The paint is easily washed and wiped out of the bathtub. But do the patch test and check. You don’t have to want a small Picasso to leave a permanent work in the bathroom!
Children like the idea of creative, but they were not excited about the route of a specific chemical in the bathtub. Bath paints purchased at a popular store for children have ingredients that are tested and safe. But tongue twiststers, such as fragrance, artificial dyes and alkyl acrylate cross polymers, are not my excitement chemical.
How to make a handmade bath paint
Making a bath paint made at home for children is not actually easier. You simply need a clean, liquid soap for the floor, food dye, and needs something to thicken the liquid. My family avoids artificial food dye, but there are many natural options in the market. You can find them online at your local health food store, and even the main grocery stores are now buying them.
There are several options for soap. Clear liquid soap, hand soap, shampoo or natural dish soap must work. Bronner’s Castile SOAP is usually going for a DIY soap project, but it doesn’t work well in this recipe. Castile SOAP can have more yellow shades and found something blocked in this recipe.
In this recipe, I tested some other soaps and settled on my natural dish soap. You can experiment with the natural soap you have and use the most suitable for you. Choose a clear one.
Important memo for pH
One of the big reasons why certain soaps work and others do not use bath paints are pH levels. If you remember in high school chemistry, alkaline pH appears purple in color strips. Different soap products have different pH levels for various reasons. But once mixed with natural food coloring agents (pH control), the result may be that everything is changed to purple/blue.
Clear and natural shampoos (naturally about 5 pH) should not have this problem. If you use body soap or dish soap (about 7-9 pH), all edible pigments turn into purple due to alkaline solutions. The simplest solution is to add some acids and red down the pH. I used lemon juice, but vinegar is also effective.
Tips and tips
Some recipes demand to cook the ingredients together, but they didn’t know it was needed. Mixing everything together is much faster and simple. I prefer to keep things simply whenever possible!
You may also want to see if you are cutting the lumps on corn starch or arrow root powder before mixing with soap. This helps to make much softer paint. You can do this work in a forked bowl or use Sifter/Sieve.
The following is a way to make your child -friendly DIY bathing paint.
DIY bath paint
This easy bath paint makes the bath time more fun! They are non -toxic and easy to whip.
Product: 4 oz.

Make sure there are no lumps on corn starch or arrow roots. You can disassemble it with a fork or use sieve in a bowl.

Add liquid soap and lemon juice and stir until soft.

Separate the mixture into individual cups. The silicone tray also works well. You will want to have a lot of cups as you have color.

Add a few drops of food color in each cup and stir well.

In the bathtub, use a brush or finger to paint around the bathtub or paint the tiles.

Wash the wall with water and clean when it is completed.
To save it later, choose vinegar instead of fresh lemon juice. When they were in the bathtub and were exposed to water, they should be used immediately.
How to use bath paint
If you have a bath paint, put each color in a separate container. This silicone large co -cube tray also works well. Children can paint with fingers or paint brushes. I knew that choosing a paint brush was easier to clean with lukewarm water. Really hot water can get the corn starch and grab more.
The most important thing is fun! (And PS performs a patch test so that there is no stain)
