I started to make my own foam hand soap early in the transition to a more natural lifestyle. I found concerns about antibacterial soap and the need to wash my hands/arms/counter with a thousand soaps a day, and I needed a healthy and frugal option.
Children are old and messy, so we still have a lot of hand! Thankfully, there is also a huge simple option made at home. In addition, it is almost expensive to make a bottle and is made of clean ingredients.
Simple DIY form hand soap
The recipe itself is literally so simple that a six -year -old child refills a handmade foam hand soap container. I have some simple ingredients in my hand, and we don’t need to buy a hand soap or flee. Surprisingly, this foamy natural soap also creates decent shaver cream and body wash in the shower.
Before you start, you need a bubble hand soap bottle. I originally ordered this pretty foam hand soap dispenser online. You can also reuse the pump bottle of your favorite form hand soap.
Why do you use foam hand soap?
A few years ago, I was addicted to soap making, and we were always completely stocked with other bar soaps. Now that life is more busy in different ways, I depend more on natural liquid soap and bubble hand soap. The foam pump makes a nice foam, but the whole uses a smaller soap than a normal liquid hand soap.
This is good for young children who think it’s fun to keep pumping soap courage! Of course, in places like bathtubs and body works, it is much healthier (and cheaper!) It is much healthier.
Ingredients
The default recipe is soap, oil and distillation. You can keep it with fragrance or add a few drops of essential oils. These are not only helpful for friendly odors, but also add natural antibacterial characteristics to solve unwanted bacteria without using synthetic antibacterial chemicals. Dr. Bronner’s CASTILE SOAP is provided in a peppermint, lavender, citrus and other essential oils, as well as a scented version.
I use olive oil because it moisturizes olive oil in this recipe, but the hooba, sweet almond or liquid carrier oil works. Do not use hard things like coconut oil. You can also add 1/2 TSP glycerin for additional glides.
This recipe should be used within about a week because it uses water and has no preservatives. If you do not pass it quickly, you can half the recipe. It is not a problem in my house! The default recipe is 12 parts in one part, so you can expand or expand.
Here is a tutorial (very simple) tutorial about how to make your own homemade foam soap!
DIY form hand soap recipe
This easy foam hand soap contains only water, liquid Castilla soap, moisturizing and optional essential oil for simple and frugally handmade soap.
Product: 13 oz.
Fill the soap dispenser with water within about 1 inch of the top. Leave a space for the soap pump form.
Add 2 tablespoons of liquid Castilla soap to the water mixture. Note: Do not add soap first. Otherwise, bubbles occur when water is added.
If you use it, add oil and essential oils.
Mix lightly up close.
Use it as a regular form hand soap.
- This soap requires a foam soap dispenser. Reuse the bottle from the bubble soap purchased online or purchased at the store.
- If there is no distillation, you can also use boiled filtered water.
Caution for essential oils
Essential oil 1/2 teaspoon is still smaller than 1% dilution, which is much lower than the maximum amount of cleaning products. But more stimulating oils such as cinnamon, cloves, oregano and lemon grass must be used or avoided in much less. It has natural antibacterial characteristics, but soft oils on the skin include lavender, orange, lemon and tea tree essential oils.
If you use soaps that already have essential oils, you do not need to add more.
