In recent years, I have traveled a lot from Texas to Iceland. And I like to experience new things, but I don’t always like to travel with liquid conditioners and shampoo. This nutritional conditioner bar recipe is good for travel or at home!
The best conditioner is a state of excessive hair, moisturizing, and no sketches. I have this handmade hair conditioner, but sometimes I have a hard conditioner bar.
What is the conditioner bar?
The shampoo bar has been styles for a while for the hair care routine. I shared the post a few years ago with the recipe for the moisture shampoo bar. Basically, handmade soap. The conditioner rods are similar, but they use more moisturizing ingredients instead of soap and detergent. They are popular as an alternative to more eco -friendly (and zero waste) for ordinary shampoos and conditioners.
There are many cleaner versions, but most still contain BehenTrimonium methods or chloride. This chemical is made of canola oil (often GMO) and is extracted as a solvent (not a healthy option). The final results are technically safe, but are certainly not natural. There is a mixed review of this ingredient, but safety data is a bit lacking. So I wanted to make a conditioner rod that skipped it.
I like DIY conditioner bars that are easy to skip parabens, silicone and sulfuric acid found in conventional shampoos. You can also create a conditioner bar. In addition, plastic use is also used because you can skip plastic bottles.
It is easy to make a rod based on oil. This fits well with damaged hair, dry hair, curly hair, curly hair. However, certain hair types such as thin hair or thin hair can be too heavy. And if you use too much, your hair can be weighted, greasy or curly.
Natural conditioner bar ingredient
My daughters and I have long hair, so I wanted to work well without greasy. And some of us are definitely smarter and more fine while we have natural curls.
This conditioner bar recipe is a mixture of light ingredients such as glycerin and aloe. Then use cocoa butter and mango butter instead of beeswax. I also added oil that loves hair such as Joba (or Argan) oil, lavender, and rosemary essential oils. This promotes healthy hair and makes the smell better! If you want an incense version, you can leave essential oils, but add a strong health benefits.
The recipe uses both water and oil soluble components, so oil painting is also used. This helps to combine all materials. Usually, when creating a lotion bar (similar process), I simply pour it into the silicone mold when I simply pour hot liquid into the silicon mold. For this recipe, stir when cooling to prevent the mixture from being separated.
This recipe is very simple and basically melts, stirts and pours. The hair is soft and smelled! Try using this DIY shampoo bar.
Natural solid conditioner bar
This DIY NATURAL CONDIONER BAR is portable and helps to be soft and nutritious.
Product: 4 bar
Put cocoa butter, mango butter, hooba oil and oil wax at the top of the double boiler. It is sometimes stirred until it is heated or completely melting with medium heat.
Mix aloe vera, glycerin and essential oils in a separate small bowl while the oil is heated in the stove.
When the oil melts completely, turn off the heat and slowly pour aqueous ingredients. Skilled out while swollen.
Cool the mixture for about 30-40 minutes from the refrigerator. Stir or shake off every 10 minutes until it looks like a cream, opaque, and thick dough.
Spoon the mixture into the mold and soften the top.
Cool in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until it is reinforced. I left me all night.
Use after shampoo (see below). These also make a great skin lotion bar!
- What I did in my study should be safe for hair treated with color. But ask your hair stylist if you’re not sure.
- You can also apply a light layer to dry hair to use as a vacation conditioner.
How to use a DIY conditioner bar
Go a little longer! If you don’t use too many conditioners, your hair may feel greasy. And because the scalp naturally produces oil, most people don’t need to control the oil.
- Rub the conditioner rod layer in your hand.
- Rub your hands and work on your hair. Avoid the scalp.
- Rinse with very warm water to help the oil further disperse.
