According to the filing, Trump, his sons Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and the Trump Organization say in the lawsuit that they leaked information to the New York Times and ProPublica, causing public embarrassment as well as reputational and financial harm. They say this ‘unfairly tarnished’ their business reputation, portrayed them in a wrong light and had a negative impact on their public standing.
