Why I’m Obsessed With These Margaritas

If I go out and try a cocktail, it’s almost always going to be a margarita. My Jalapeño Grapefruit Margarita has been a go-to of mine for years, and these Pineapple Margs might hit the spot! It’s sweet, tart and seriously so refreshing.

This pineapple margarita recipe was inspired by my daughter Rosie and includes tequila, lots of pineapple juice, and coconut water. Shake everything up, serve over ice, and you have an irresistible (and gorgeous) cocktail!

ingredient

  • Pineapple Juice: The base of pineapple margarita! Canned or fresh pineapple juice is good.
  • tequila: The higher the quality of the tequila, the better the margarita will taste. It’s as simple as that.
  • lime juice: Freshly squeezed lime juice is my choice!
  • Coconut Water: I like to top this pineapple margarita with a little coconut water. It adds a little sweetness and the perfect amount of coconut flavor.

fun decoration

Interesting borders: Get creative and serve your pineapple margaritas with a fun border! I like to use sea salt + tagine + coconut sugar. I love it!

decoration: Add fresh pineapple slices, lime wedges, or jalapenos to each glass before serving. It looks really cute with pineapple leaves in the glass.

How to Make Pineapple Margarita

  1. Prepare your cocktail glass: If you want to sprinkle a little salt on the rim of your margarita glass, prepare the rim by moistening it with lime and then dipping it in kosher salt or Himalayan salt. Add ice to the glass. Set aside.
  2. Add ice to cocktail shaker. Add ice to the cocktail shaker to ensure all ingredients are ice cold when serving.
  3. Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker: Add tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, and coconut water to a cocktail shaker and shake.
  4. Serve over ice: Pour your margarita over ice in a glass and enjoy!
