Why should you plan your meals?
This isn’t just for Type A moms or Pinterest people. that youSomeone who juggles everything and still doesn’t lose it and tries to feed everyone. Here’s why weekly meal planning works:
- No more panic about dinner. you actually know What should I eat for dinner before 4pm?
- Save money on groceries. Shop once, buy what you need, and don’t throw away sad produce at the end of the week.
- Less take-out guilt. Once you have your meal planned and ingredients ready, you’ll be much less likely to hit the drive-thru.
- Spend more time with people. Less stress about what to cook = more time to spend on what actually matters.
My weekly meal plan always includes a printable shopping list that is measured and ready to go. It makes things so easy!

Save leftovers for meal planning
I only plan my meals Monday through Friday because weekends are a wild card. Sometimes I go outside, sometimes I wear wings, sometimes I wear leggings and survive on leftovers. If you have any extra items, place them in an airtight container and take a break.
