Egg roll ingredients in a bowl

Overhead shot of egg rolls with bowl ingredients labeled.
  • minced meat: Substitute ground chicken, ground pork, or ground beef instead of ground turkey!
  • Coleslaw Mix: It’s easy to use a pre-made mix, but you can also use shredded cabbage and matchstick carrots if you prefer.
  • vegetable: Chopped mushrooms keep the turkey juicy and add flavor, and can be paired with bell peppers, peas, or bok choy to add more color and nutrition. Use whatever you like.
  • Protein Exchange: Use ground turkey, chicken, or pork. It all works fine. For a vegan version, skip the meat and add more vegetables.
  • Looking for a little heat? Add sriracha or red pepper flakes.
