If your kids love crafts, slime, surprise toys, or collecting squishies, this Elmer’s activity kit is sure to be a hit (it’s not as silly as some craft kits). I regret DIY slime kits every time because they always end up being a mess and it seems like I have to go through more steps than the instructions say to get the right consistency.
Trust me when I say this squishy kit is none of those things! There is no need to measure or ‘test’ consistency. Just pour and wait! I love that there are two copies of everything, even the chopsticks and plastic cups, so two kids can do this activity at the same time. I was worried that the result, namely the squish, would be too squishy or sticky. Or, you may have to wait longer than recommended to let it dry. But everything worked out perfectly! The squish wasn’t too sticky and came out of the mold easily and was ready to play with!
IMO this is a very unique and easy to use craft for a reasonable price and the end result is something you can keep rather than just throw away or use once. A great summer boredom activity with little confusion and guidance, a great overnight option since you get two in a box, the possibilities are endless!
