Exodus Adventure Travels Unveils Signature Collection of Luxury Tours: Travel Weekly

Small group adventure tour specialist Exodus Adventure Travels is launching a new luxury tour collection.

The Toronto-based tour operator plans to launch The Signature Collection in early 2026. The portfolio includes experiences biased towards the high-end category, with itineraries structured for slow, immersive travel.

The new collection features itineraries to destinations including Japan, Costa Rica, India, Jordan and Morocco, with departures scheduled for early next year. The trip will include expert guides, accommodations that reflect the regions visited and exclusive experiences not found on non-Collection itineraries, said Executive Director Sally Cowdry.

“The world needs to be felt, not just seen,” she said.

The operator launched Premium Adventures in 2022 and has since observed growing interest in “luxurious, curated travel experiences”. The new collection aims to meet this demand.

The collection will provide a high-quality experience, but it will be authentic, if not always flashy, Cowdry said.

For example, take a look at the “Signature Japan: Through Temples and Time” itinerary. Guests will spend the night at a temple on Mount Koya. She said the temple resembles one-star accommodation for its simplicity and “to really experience what it means to be inside a monastery with all aspects of worship and veganism.”

Priced at $9,820, the nine-day itinerary also includes four nights in Kyoto, a private tea ceremony, and a rare opportunity to meet an apprentice geisha.

The “Signature Morocco: Echoes of the Minaret” itinerary takes travelers to Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains, where they stay in riads, kasbahs and luxury desert camps. Highlights of the nine-day trip include tea with a Berber family, watching the sunset and riding a camel in the Sahara Desert. Pricing starts at $8,530.

Ben Colbridge, director of product and advertising, said the itinerary was designed for a slow, domestic experience rather than a whiplash, fast-paced experience.

“It’s not designed to be the classic first highlight of a country where you’re trying to fit everything in 10 days, one night, one night, two nights, one night,” he said.
