China AI Company DeepSeek has modified an exposed backend database that pours sensitive information on the Internet, including user chat history and API keys. The DeepSeek database has not been protected by a password, so you can access the unpopular logs that are not encrypted by people on the Internet.
Security researchers at Cloud Giant Wiz found an exposed database, warned Deepseek, and soon took the database offline. According to Wired, WIZ researchers said that exposed chat logs were in Chinese but easily translated. It is not yet known that someone other than the Wiz found a database before the database was secured or how long the database was exposed. DeepSeek did not respond to the request.
Incorrectly configured databases are often caused by the error of a person due to malicious intentions. DeepSeek has seen virus adults since it was released in December.
