Justin Rose has won a sensation with six birdies in the last eight holes in the FedEx St. Jude Championship, winning the playoffs with the American Open Champion JJ SPAUN.
The British, who became the oldest European who won the PGA Tour during the 45 -year -old modern era, took second place with Bogey on 12th and finished second with the leader Tommy Fleetwood, World No 1 Scottie Scheffler.
But four -day birdies on the 14th put him at the top of the leader board, and he finally missed 13 feet after 16 days tied to Spaun.
On the other hand, waiting for the first PGA Tour title of Fleetwood continues after the desperate disappointing finish.
The British were completely placed to wait for a long time on the tour when two holes were moved with three holes to make three birdies in four holes on the back of 9.
But the finish of the Par-Bogey-Par was seen that Rose and Spaun surrendered his lead beyond him with capital.
In a sudden death playoff, Rose produced two more birdies in three holes. After the spoon drilled the hole, the clutch effort was a decisive distance of the decisive attempt to extend the contest from 14 to 14 to the second to the second to 14 feet.
Rose ‘did not believe’
Rose said in an interview after his round, “This is 90 minutes later. I never stopped believing.”
“I played an incredible golf, and I was surprised with him. I know that if I do my best, I know it’s good enough to confront the world’s best players.
“Everybody calls me careful, accurate and prepared, but I always know that I have it inside. I’m nervous like someone, but when it is important, I still go up to it.
“I’m getting healthier and getting better as the pressure accumulates. It’s hard to practice and teaching. I’m happy to know that it did not leave me at an older age.
“I don’t want to be too old to talk. I move well, my body feels good and I training well. Golf can still be ahead.
“Today is huge for me. I’m very satisfied. A lot of effort is gone at the age of 45.”
