Fiji Airways will begin flights to Dallas starting December 10.
The airline connects Nadi, Fiji's main airport, with Dallas-Fort Worth Airport three times a week. Flights are operated by a two-cabin Airbus A350-900, with 33 seats in business class and 301 seats in economy class. All seats in business class have aisle access.
Dallas will be Fiji Airways’ fourth U.S. destination, following Los Angeles, San Francisco and Honolulu. The airline is the only airline to offer nonstop flights between the U.S. and Fiji.
The route will launch as Fiji Airways prepares to become a full member of the Oneworld alliance by the middle of next year, up from its current associate membership. American Airlines, with its large hub in Dallas, is the largest Oneworld carrier.
Fiji and American Airlines have also announced plans to increase reward redemption opportunities for AAdvantage members transiting through Fiji.
Fiji Airways has announced that tickets for its new flights are on sale, with suggested return fares starting from $699.
