Broadcaster said five Al Jaza journalists died in an Israeli strike near Gaza City’s Al-Sipha Hospital.
The correspondent ANAS Al-Sharif and Mohammed QREIQEH were in the tent for journalists at the main entrance of the hospital with the cameraman Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammed Noufal and Moamen Aliwa, Al Jazeera reported.
On Sunday, “target assassination” said in a statement that “another shameless and planned attack on Press freedom.”
Immediately after the strike, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that it aimed for Anas Al-Sharif.
IDF did not mention to other journalists who were killed.
AL JAZEERA died of strike. The broadcaster first said four employees were killed, but they were revised to five hours later.
Mohamed Moawad’s administrator said in the BBC as an official reporter who knows what has happened in Gaza Strip.
During the war, Israel did not allow international journalists to report freely to Gaza. Therefore, many stores depend on guaranteeing local journalists in the territory.
Moa Wad said of the Israeli strike, “They aimed for a tent and did not cover the front line.”
“The fact is that the Israeli government wants to silence the coverage of the reporting channel inside Gaza,” he told the newsroom program.
“This is not seen before in modern history.”
The 28-year-old Al-Sharif seemed to post on X at the moment before he died of a warning of an intense Israeli bombing in Gaza City. The publication published after he was known to have died appears to have been written and published by a friend in advance.
In the two graphic videos of the strike, confirmed by the BBC Verife, men can see that men are holding the body of murdered people.
Some say that one of the bodies is the body of Al-Sharif.
In the statement, the IDF accused Al-Sharif’s pose as a journalist and accused him of “a responsibility to advance rocket attacks against Israelites and IDF troops.”
It was previously “disclosed” to confirm his military alliance that included the “list of terrorist training courses”.
Last month, Al Jazeera Media Network, along with a committee to protect the UN and journalists (CPJ), has announced a separate statement that the life of Al -Sharif is in danger and demands his protection.
Jodie Ginsberg, the chief executive of CPJ, told the BBC that Israeli authorities did not provide evidence that the journalists they murdered were terrorists.
“This is a pattern seen not only in the current war, but also in Israel, and the Israeli troops will generally be killed, and Israel is a terrorist, but there is little evidence to support the claim.”
This is not the first time IDF has killed Al Jazeera in Gaza.
In August last year, ISMAEL AL -GHOUL sat in the car and was attacked. The video shared by social media showed his body. Camera Man Lami Al-Rifi and a bicycle boy died.
In the case of AL-GHOUL, the IDF has participated in Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, claiming that Al Jazeera strongly rejected it.
According to the CPJ, 186 journalists have died since the launch of Israel’s military offensive in Gaza in October 2023.
The situation is still serious for journalists in Gaza. There is a threat of Kia as well as raids.
Last month, the BBC and three news agencies, Reuters, AP, and AFP, issued a joint statement to the journalists of Strip to express “desperate interests” and say that they cannot feed themselves and their families more.
The BBC said that the three freelancers, who rely on his reports, often went to the shooting for several days without meals.
More than 100 international aid organizations and human rights organizations warned about the mass hunger of Gaza. However, Israel, who controls the entry of the aid to the Gaza, criticized the charity as “serving Hamas’s propaganda.”
Israel began attacking Hamas -led attacks on southern Israel on October 7 that year, about 1,200 of them died and 251 were hosted.
According to the territory of the territory, more than 61,000 people have died in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli military operation.
