Negril has long offered a different kind of Jamaican vacation.

Royalton said the returning resort will feature both Jamaican and international cuisine across its collection of restaurants.
The company has not yet released complete details about all of the restaurants it will reopen, but Jamaican resorts traditionally have a mix of buffet dining, specialty restaurants, casual poolside venues and bars.
The return of the five resorts will restore a variety of all-inclusive dining options across Negril and Montego Bay.
Jamaican food is expected to remain an important part of the experience, with an international menu defining Royalton’s wider resort model.
Visitors can expect Italian, Asian and steakhouse concepts, depending on the accommodation, along with familiar island staples like jerk dishes, seafood, tropical fruits and rum-based drinks.
Family travel, adults-only accommodations and private retreats
The reopening of the five resorts is notable as Royalton will once again offer a variety of vacation options in Jamaica.
Families can choose the larger Royalton hotels in Negril or Montego Bay. Couples looking for an adults-only trip can stay at one of the Hideaway resorts. Grand Lido offers a more specialized clothing options experience in Negril.
The Diamond Club category offers upgraded services and private space, while Royalton’s suites and villas are for travelers who want more room and added privacy.

The return of the Royalton is part of a broader reopening across Jamaica’s resort sector, with several major hotels preparing to welcome travelers back ahead of the winter season.
