Each year, the Alliance solicits nominations for outstanding young professionals who are advancing food safety and creating lasting change across industry, academia, regulatory agencies and related fields. Winners represent rising stars who are creating stronger food safety systems and cultures around the world.
Launched in 2023, the 40 Under 40 Food Safety Professionals program recognizes emerging leaders who are advancing the field through outstanding leadership, innovative research, and meaningful contributions to food safety and food safety culture.
Candidates must meet established eligibility criteria, be under 40 years of age as of July 6, 2026, and may not have previously been selected for the 40 Under 40 cohort. Winners are selected based on their accomplishments, industry influence, and potential to shape the future of food safety.
