Defense Minister Pete Hegseth said the US military killed four people by attacking a boat on the Venezuela coast.
HegSeth said, “The strike was carried out in the international waters right next to the Venezuela coast, and the ship was transporting a large amount of drugs.

There was no immediate response from Venezuela, but President Nicholas Maduro had previously criticized the strike and his country would defend us “invasion.”
Friday’s fatal attack is the fourth in the United States in a month.
Trump said in early September that 11 people were killed by a strike on a ship that carried the Southern Drugs in early September.
At the end of this month, two separate strikes killed a total of six.
