Four Seasons Resort Nevis has appointed Mahmoud Mohamed as its new resort manager, adding a veteran luxury hotel executive to its leadership team.
Mohamed has over 20 years of experience in five-star hotels in the United States, Canada, and the Middle East. In his new role, he will oversee all operational departments of the resort and represent Four Seasons Resort Nevis on local government, housing and community issues.
“Mahmoud offers an exceptional blend of operational excellence, multicultural exposure and genuine warmth – qualities that blend beautifully with the spirit of Nevis,” said Avi Phookan, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Nevis. “We are thrilled to welcome him as he helps lead our resort into an exciting new era of guest experience and community partnerships.”
Mohamed began his career at Four Seasons at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence. He was later selected as Corporate Training Program Manager for Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, a development track for future leaders within the brand.
He subsequently held roles at Four Seasons Resort Whistler and Four Seasons Hotel Houston, gaining experience in large-scale resort and urban luxury environments.
In addition to the Four Seasons, Mohamed further expanded his operational experience in large luxury hotels by serving as Director of Rooms at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and the Forbes Five-Star Fairmont Pacific Rim.
Mohamed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Cairo University and is a graduate of the General Manager program at Cornell University.
Four Seasons Resort Nevis said the appointment comes as the hotel continues to focus on enhancing guest experience and strengthening ties with the local community.
