
Four Seasons Group, in partnership with investment firm Albwardy Investment, plans to open a resort along Pongwe Beach in Zanzibar, on the Tanzanian coast. Four Seasons Resort Zanzibar will be the company's second resort in Tanzania, following Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti on the mainland.
The newly built resort in Zanzibar will include 60 private villas ranging from one to three bedrooms. Each villa offers panoramic views of the Indian Ocean across 126 acres of beachfront grounds.
Travelers will enjoy a beachfront pool and cabanas, water sports and family activities, as well as an extensive fitness facility, dynamic meeting and event space, and a luxurious spa featuring five private treatment rooms and outdoor cabanas for a custom outdoor spa. experiences. The resort also features five restaurants featuring locally inspired cuisine and a beachfront atmosphere, including a signature seafood restaurant and an all-day Mediterranean restaurant.
A dedicated on-site Discovery Center conservation team will lead sustainability initiatives to protect Zanzibar's habitat and promote responsible tourism.
