Frozen Chocolate Banana Ghost Pops

Frozen Banana Ghost Pops

These frozen Bunana Pops are the cutest Healthy Halloween snack! Made with just two ingredients: banana and white chocolate, it’s creamy and naturally sweet and a hit with kids and adults alike. Perfect for Halloween parties, after-school snacks, or fun weekend projects with young kids.

I love Halloween treats that are festive but still light. These banana pops are quick to make, easy to store in the freezer, and super fun to decorate. Help your kids dip the bananas and add chocolate chip “eyes.” Once frozen, they taste like mini banana ice cream pops! You can also drizzle a little dark chocolate on top or roll it in coconut to create a “mummy” effect. Some more easy Halloween party ideas for you to enjoy are the Mummy Jalapeño Popper and French Bread Pizza Mummy!

I used to make this for Madison when she was little. It’s fun to make with kids as you only need two ingredients. Dip frozen banana halves into melted white chocolate, add mini chocolate chip eyes, and freeze until set. Sweet, creamy, and spookily cute!

ingredient

  • banana – Use firm, ripe (not overripe) bananas so they retain their shape when frozen.
  • white chocolate – Melt for coating. You can use chips or chopped sticks.
  • mini chocolate chips – For the spooky little “eyes.”

How to Make Frozen Bunana Pops

  1. Prepare the bananas: Peel each banana, cut in half crosswise, then slice lengthwise. Insert a popsicle stick or lollipop stick into the quarter.
  2. to hang tightly: Place bananas on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
  3. Melt the chocolate: Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe cup in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Dip and decorate: Working quickly, dip frozen banana pops into melted chocolate, then add mini chocolate chip “eyes.”
  5. Freeze again: Return to baking sheet and freeze until set.

That’s it! The result is a frosty, creamy treat that’s both spooky and sweet.

This makes 4 pops, but you’ll have more chocolate left over if you want to make more. Each banana contains about 1/2 ounce of chocolate. This is how I based my nutritional information.

How to Serve

Enjoy these ghost pops straight from the freezer at your next Halloween party or as a light dessert after dinner. It’s a great alternative to candy and is always a hit with kids (and adults who want something a little lighter).
