Three of Germany’s own “King” and his senior “subject” were arrested and their group was banned from attempts to overthrow the state.
The 59 -year -old Peter Fitzek was one of the people who were arrested for breakfast attacks over Tuesday, including about 800 security personnel.
The government has banned the Königreich Deutschland or the group that wants to establish the “German Kingdom”, or “citizen of Reich”.
German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt has made an alternative status and accused the “anti -Semitable conspiracy story to” attempt to “damage the law by spreading the alternative conspiracy story.”
His ministry announced the dissolution of the group and accused the funding through the “economic crime structure.”
Fitzek, a former cooker, Karate instructor, called him “King” and confirmed himself as “Peter the First” in the previous court case.
He crown him while wearing Ermine Robes in 2012 while wielding a medieval sword. Since then, he has purchased land and property throughout Germany.
Reichsbürgers has its own calls, flags and ID cards and wants to set up a separate bank and health system.
Fitzek argues that there are thousands of followers or “subjects”.
In an interview with the BBC in 2022, he denied violent intentions, but described the German state as “destructive and sick.”
“I’m not interested in becoming part of this fascist and Satan’s system,” he said when he visited “Kingdom” in the eastern Germany.
Fitzek repeatedly collided with the authorities and did not comply with the German law and often seemed to pursue public relations.
He was in prison for repeatedly driving without a license after deciding to symbolize the law. At the end of the trial session, Fitz saw it in front of the court and drove.
Fitzek is one of Germany’s about 25,000 reichsbürger. The number has been increasing over the last few years.
Many are right -wing extremists who wield racist and anti -Semitism theory. They did not recognize the authority of the security forces, and many people have illegal weapons, which caused a shooting with the police. Officials say that about 2,500 people are potentially violent and 1,350 are classified as right -wing extremists.
In 2022, dozens of people were arrested, and many of them arrested Reichsbürger to decorate the Berlin’s German government. They were accused of planning a violent coup, including kidnapping the Ministry of Health to create “civil condition” to destroy German democracy.
In the past, Reichsbürger was often dismissed by eccentric cranks because of obscene ideas.
But as the past 10 years have grown politically and strongly in Germany, officials now see them as serious threats.
The federal laboratory in Karlsruhe said that Fitzek was arrested with another suspicious ring leader of this group, which was classified as a criminal organization.
As a “so -called supreme sovereign”, Fitzek has “control and decision -making in all major areas,” the office said.
“The German Kingdom is trying to expand the national territory, which was regarded as a sovereign state within the meaning of international law, to expand its national territory to the border of the German Empire in 1871.”
