I bought this to smooth out flyaway hair that jumps out when I wash my hair and gets frizzy due to humidity. It also helps tame static electricity when it's cold. I used to use hairspray for that problem and this works much better. It's lightweight, doesn't make my hair look greasy (I have naturally oily hair that needs to be washed daily), doesn't leave a thick residue like some hair waxes, and a little goes a long way.
