Ghana musicians have detained the purchase of Lamborghini.

Ghana authorities were detained in the investigation by the popular Ghana musicians, Shaatta Wale, and the Ghana authorities said.

Whale’s yellow Lamborghini was confiscated at the US request earlier this month, claiming that the vehicle is related to the profits of criminal companies.

Ghana’s Economic and Organization Criminal Office (EOCO) said on Wednesday that WALE voluntarily entered custody and then questioned the car.

WALE’s executives say in the statement that they did not mention the US charges, and instead, the artist was detained by “tax obligations.”

In 2019, Lamborghini Urus said by the FBI and the US Department of Justice, “It is related to $ 4 million ($ 3 million) related to Nana Kwabena Amuah, a prison in the United States.

WALE refused to know or connect to Amuah, who was sentenced to seven years in 2023 for fraud.

He said he was a “third -party owner” of $ 150,000 (110,000 pounds) and did not know who was transported to this country.

The real name Charles Nii Armah is one of the most famous musicians in Ghana.

He has a very successful career in Jamaica’s dance hall sound, and in 2019, he worked with Beyoncé to improve his global profile.

After the question, WALE received a jewelry of 10,000,000 gan or CEDIS (£ 910,00; £ 675,000), EoCO said.

His executives were released later after paying the jewelry, his management said.

Meanwhile, a small number of Wale fans gathered outside the Eoko office of Akra, the capital, to show solidarity with musicians.

EOCO said that Wale’s Lamborghini will return to the United States to help the victims of Amuah’s victims.

According to the US court record, Amuah and his conspirators have a supplier that are making almost 70 public and private organizations.

Wednesday, WALE’s executives urged fans to calm and avoid guessing. Musicians maintained detention.

“We want to be sure that all fans and the public are completely participating and actively working with the authorities to solve this problem,” the statement said.

WALE’s seizure is part of a wide range of operations. Ghana worked with the United States to dismantle an international fraud network for Americans.

This month, the FBI and the US Department of Justice expelled and arrested three Ghana citizens, estimated to be the price of a $ 100 million fraud system related to romance fraud and phishing attacks.
