The Appetizer Queen is back again and ready to share beautiful, fresh, and absolutely craveable recipes you’ll want to make every week for the rest of the summer.
This herbal olive Goat Cheese Yogurt Dip A creamy and tangy whipped cream base is added with fresh, salty, spicy and sweet toppings to create the most delicious bite. I mean, just look at the gorgeous colors! I basically decorated this dip with my favorite things, and I’m not mad about it.
The best part? It takes about 5-10 minutes to make, so it will be ready by the time the first customer rings the doorbell. Take them to a party or outing, or enjoy them as a fun, high-protein snack.

Everything you need to make Goat Cheese Yogurt Dip
Creamy, savory, fresh, and made with super simple ingredients in just 5 to 10 minutes. Here’s what you need:
- yogurt: Use good, thick plain whole milk Greek yogurt. You can secretly get a lot of protein from yogurt!
- Goat Cheese: You will love the taste of goat cheese.
- produce: Add fresh lemon juice and garlic to the blended dip and top with fresh parsley and dill.
- Calabrian pepper paste: This spicy, slightly fruity paste adds lovely depth to the dip.
- olive: Feel free to use any olives you like for salty, salty goodness! I like Castelvetrano olives.
- honey: A little honey balances out the tangy and spicy flavors.

Add some crunch.
I love topping the dip with toasted almonds for a delicious crunch. There are two ways to roast almonds.
- Cooktop method: Add the almonds to the pan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the almonds are slightly golden brown, 2 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool before adding to dip.
- Oven method: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place almonds in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake until fragrant and golden brown, 6 to 8 minutes, stirring once halfway through baking. Be careful not to burn the nuts!
You can easily keep the dip nut-free by leaving out the almonds.

Looking for extra heat?
Feel free to swap honey for hot honey! You can buy it from the store, but you can also make it yourself.
- Combine honey and 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes or hot sauce in a small microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave the honey for 10-15 seconds until it bubbles slightly.
- Let cool and then add to your recipe!

Herby Goat Cheese Yogurt Dip Step 3
- Whip the yogurt base. Place yogurt, goat cheese, lemon juice, and garlic in a food processor and process until smooth. Add a little salt and pepper, process again and place in a shallow soaking bowl.
- Spice it up. Top the dip with chili paste and use a spoon to swirl the top into pretty shapes.
- Garnish and serve. Top with the remaining garnishes evenly and enjoy!

The best way to enjoy this dip
- Serve as a dip for pita chips, crackers, pretzels, or freshly cut vegetables.
- Add a scoop to your burger, sandwich, or wrap to use as a “sauce.”
- Toasted bread or crostini for a simple yet classy appetizer
How to Store Goat Cheese Yogurt Dip
Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Mix well before taking out of the refrigerator!
