Here is my Bali group itinerary: Travel Weekly

Nadia “Sparkle” Henry

I fell in love with Bali when I first visited the ‘Island of the Gods’ with my family in 2018 to celebrate my husband’s birthday.

I was immediately captivated by the charm of the island and its unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. I’ve been back twice since, each time with my beloved group of “Sparklers” – a community of travel enthusiasts who share a passion for discovering the world.

The group tour I had planned was sold out within a week, and I had to increase the number of guests to 30-32. Planning a trip to Bali requires careful consideration to ensure an all-inclusive adventure. I recommend my clients begin their trip with a four-night stay in Ubud, the cultural and spiritual center of the island. Explore lush landscapes, vibrant art scenes, and tranquil temples. Afterwards, ideally move to Nusa Dua for beachside relaxation or to Seminyak for three days of vibrant nightlife, extending the trip to seven nights.

Here’s the Bali itinerary I designed to provide a balance of cultural immersion, adventure, and relaxation.

Day 1: Start in Ubud. Spend the afternoon admiring the city’s tranquil scenery to unwind after a long flight.

In the evening, begin your adventure with a traditional lukewarm dinner and sample Balinese hospitality. During my trip, I planned a group dinner at a Balinese restaurant and hired traditional dancers to perform.

Day 2: Visit Aloha Ubud Swing. Choose one of the flowing dresses available for rent to add flair to your photos at this unique theme park. Dresses can be rented at the park for about $20. Capture breathtaking views of the lush rice terraces, perfect for Instagram-worthy moments.

Bali is dominated by a Hindu culture centered around numerous temples known as Puras. Each pura serves as a spiritual center that blends rituals and rituals into the daily lives of local residents.

One such pura is the Tirta Empul Temple, a sacred site famous for its purifying holy spring water.

Day 3: Cultural tour. Visit Pura’s famous “Gate of Heaven” at Lempuyang Temple for unforgettable photo opportunities, stunning views and spiritual insights.

Then take a dip in Blangsinga Waterfall, one of the most beautiful places on the island. You can take great photos. And crossing Gianyar’s Glass Bridge is a must for more breathtaking views.

Day 4: Relax and enjoy. After a busy third day, enjoy some tranquility by spending time at the resort and explore other activities such as spending time at the spa or taking a Balinese cooking class.

Day 5: Traditional healing. Feel the inner peace brought about by Balinese shamanic healing practices, a unique cultural experience.

Then it’s time to move on to the beach resorts of Nusa Dua for endless relaxation or Seminyak for a more lively atmosphere. Our group stayed at Laguna Beach Resort and Spa and The Apurva, a Kempinski hotel in Nusa Dua. In Seminyak, I would like to recommend the W Hotel to those who enjoy nightlife.

Day 6: Island Adventure. Book your Nusa Lembongan day cruise. Have fun participating in water activities and island exploration at the beach club.

Day 7: relaxation. A day of relaxation at the resort, enjoying the sun and beach. Alternatively, explore local attractions at your leisure.

Day 8: I’m leaving for home.

Bali is a destination that promises something for every traveller: tranquility, adventure and cultural experiences. Bali invites you to discover its magic and create memories that will last a lifetime.
