On the Democratic side, state Rep. James Talarico is expected to advance to the general election after defeating U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Dallas. The Republican primary was undecided Tuesday as Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn each finished with less than 50% of the total vote. The two are scheduled to advance to the runoff election on May 26.
