I first learned how to make homemade ice cream when we avoided our son’s dairy a few years ago. Instead of cream or heavy cream, this mint chip ice cream gets cream from avocado.
Avocado is suitable for desserts because it has a light taste and creamy texture. I used it before cucumbers and real food fake shakes. Every time I find a good deal for avocados, I know chocolate mint ice cream (and probably time to make avocades and brownies.
Another reason why avocados works well on mint chocolate chip ice cream is because of the natural light green. It is not as bright as the green food pigment found in the store.

To make an ice cream, I make everything except chocolate chips in a blender and pour into the ice cream maker. Add when the chocolate chip starts to thicken. If you don’t have an ice cream manufacturer, you can freeze it. Stir sometimes until it becomes thick.
To do this, you can use a half sweet chocolate chip or dark chocolate. You can also use a chocolate chocolate bar. The small beats of the chocolate add a nice crispy texture to the soft ice cream. I always choose dark chocolate because I have a lot of health benefits and few additives.
This handmade version skip the granular sugar and instead uses raw honey to make it sweet. You can make your own mint extract with fresh mint.

Make a mint chocolate chip ice cream at home without dairy products with coconut milk, avocado and honey.

Put all the ingredients except the chocolate chip in a blender and place the puree until it becomes smooth.

Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and stir until it becomes thick.

Add chocolate chips and stir for 2 minutes.

At this point, ice cream will be a very soft texture. You can immediately offer it with a soft service or pour it into the freezer safe bowl and freeze it until you use it.

Heart for 10-15 minutes at room temperature before serving.
