The biggest feature of this hot honey shrimp ball is Amazing fusion of flavors and textures. The shrimp are flavored with hot honey, chili garlic sauce and fresh garlic cloves, then paired with a fresh, bright mango avocado salad and served with rice for a delightful combination of spicy, sweet and fresh.

For shrimp
I like to use large or giant raw shrimp in this bowl. Because the shrimp look so amazing in this bowl. However, shrimp of any size will work. (Keep in mind, though, that the smaller the shrimp, the less time it takes to cook them.) I’m seasoning these shrimp with garlic, garlic chili sauce, salt, and of course, hot honey! It’s a simple combination of perfectly sweet, spicy and garlicky goodness.
For Mango Avocado Salad
This simple salad goes perfectly with sweet and spicy shrimp. You’ll need avocado, mango, cucumber, red onion, and a simple homemade vinaigrette. Throw it all together in 5 minutes.
for rice
I’ve made this recipe with white rice, brown rice, and even cilantro lime rice. Choose your own adventure here and get ready to eat!
Easy replacement and replacement
Shrimp selection: I used uncooked jumbo shrimp in this bowl, but smaller types of uncooked shrimp will work too. Just know that choosing smaller shrimp will affect cooking time.
Make it spicier: If you want to spice up your shrimp bowl, mix a pinch or two of red pepper flakes with hot honey.
Make it less spicy: If you don’t like spices but want to maintain the flavor of this dish, use regular honey instead of hot honey. My mom loves this option!
