
The virus-stricken cruise ship MV Hondius is scheduled to arrive in Tenerife on Sunday after docking near Cape Verde for three days.
Authorities said precautions would be taken to ensure passengers do not come into direct contact with local people. This comes as the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that the hantavirus outbreak that occurred onboard the plane was not the start of the pandemic.
