How it works
Level 1: Download and install the Cashback Button browser extension, available for free on Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
Step 2: Visit the website of the store you want to shop at. When you land on the site, a button will tell you whether cashback is available at that store. Just click “Activate” and you’re ready to go. You can shop on the site as usual while earning cashback!
Pro tip: If you accidentally close the Store site tab, re-enable the Cash Back button when you return to the site.
When you search for a product on Google, Yahoo or Bing, you will start seeing the cashback amount directly in the search results. This feature allows you to see which stores are affiliated with Rakuten without having to search on Rakuten.com.
Coupon Magic
This handy feature finds relevant coupons and promo codes for the stores you're browsing. During checkout, you will see a “Coupon Applied” notification in your shopping cart. When you click, the Cashback button will automatically apply the best discount. This feature only works at participating stores.
Groupon, Yelp, and Google Maps integration
