How to Wear a Camel Jacket – Permanent Style

Originally, I was going to call it the camel hair jacket, but camel hair comes in several colors, including navy, black, and brown. The camel hair shown here is probably the most well-known classic hair, so it seems accurate to call it camel-colored. But if that doesn’t make sense, please let me know.

Well then, camel. Light yellow/brown colors that are harder to wear than similar colors commonly recommended:

  • Biscuit like my jacket hereIt’s equally light, but brown and less saturated.
  • Cigarettes, like my suit hereIt’s orange and saturated, but not that bright.
  • Or like my jacket here, which is oatmeal, which is basically like a camel, but faded.

It helps us to know more about camels. polo coat Or in another court this. But it stands out a little more on a blazer, and this particular (beautiful) camel hair from Piacenza is also a slightly lighter color. So it takes some thought.

I had a jacket made by Sartoria Ciardi a few months ago. Probably not the best time in the summer. But British summers can still be difficult to predict. My favorite clothes so far have been light blue jeans, washed black jeans, and medium gray flannel. Available in white, cream or black on top.

Above are some of my favorites: wider, brighter blue jeans and; white western shirt from bryceland’s and on foot Snuff suede boots by Ugolini.

I match a western shirt with jeans for a more casual feel, and I like the visual detail of the snap buttons. In comparison, the white Oxford button-down looked rather plain.

The boots look just as casual (they fit better than loafers), and the snuff suede picks up some of the yellow of the jacket.

A cream knit like the Rubato above is equally flattering. Knitwear like this is especially complementary when mixed with different shades of yarn colour, such as cream, white and grey.

Washed black jeans look good below the waist, but an off-white shirt (which I wear) Rubato ecru work shirt) is better than pure white.

By contrast, mid-gray flannel is the easiest color for tailored trousers, but it also works well with a white oxford shirt or even a long-sleeved white polo. There’s something delightful about a camel-colored polo shirt that gives it a country club feel.

Brown suede goes well with the feet. They go best with jeans and boots, but can also be worn with flannel as loafers or derbies.

The overall outfit is fancier than most of the alternatives listed previously. But on sunny days it really feels like a celebration of the sun, and it’s still less flashy than bright summer options like light green or light blue.

Piacenza’s fabric proved to be a good choice. I haven’t used it much before, but I absolutely love the cashmere and camel hair jackets. This is from dune book All are medium weight (340g) and have a luxurious brushed finish.

This isn’t always translated online, so we’ve done our best to convey this in some images, such as the high-contrast image below.

Sartoria Ciardi did a great job with the production, but suggested making the shoulders 0.5 cm wider compared to the previous piece. cigarette linen suit – I think that was a mistake. But narrowing it down again isn’t the end of the world, nor is it something most people will notice.

While I was thinking about how to wear a jacket, I thought of searching a women’s site. I remember camels appearing quite often on women in recent years.

It turned out to be informative and I would recommend it to anything I think might have a crossover. It’s not ideal for subtle menswear colors (e.g. brown tweed shades), but it’s worth exploring if there’s a connection.

An online search quickly revealed that women style this jacket in only a few ways. Most notable were the white shirts we discussed first, or light knits and jeans, double denim, and various shades of black (very occasionally dark navy blue).

Some women’s clothing combinations can often be too extravagant because women can and do them more often. However, it is easier to reduce this and it is better to start with more options rather than less.

Also, trying them may lead to other ideas. I tried it on with a black knit and black jeans and found it didn’t suit me, but it worked with an off-white shirt and the charcoal color worked well with trousers. The dark navy bottoms didn’t suit me, but the knit top was fine.

Pinterest can be good too, but I find the quality varies more. It’s great for digging deeper and learning what the site wants, but it’s not very effective for quick snapshots.
