A South African supplier of ready-to-eat hummus products has been fined after listeria bacteria were found in its products.

The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has referred the manufacturer of BM Foods to the National Consumer Court following the detection of Listeria monocytogenes. Included in products supplied to retailers.
