
American TV presenter Savannah Guthrie believes her mother has been kidnapped and the two ransom notes demanding money are real, but she needs more information to find her kidnapper.
“You can’t be at peace if you don’t know,” she said in an interview aired Thursday on NBC News’ “Today” show for the first time since the kidnapping of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie.
More than 50 days have passed since Guthrie was first reported missing on February 1. Authorities believe the 84-year-old was abducted, kidnapped or abducted against his will. The FBI released surveillance video of a masked man outside Guthrie’s front door the night he disappeared.
The Guthrie family has offered a $1 million reward for information leading to their mother’s recovery.
