  • Enjoy a hassle-free trip and let the owner pick up the RV when it’s time to head home!
  • If you plan to stay at a campsite, it’s best to book in advance.
  • Make sure the campsite knows the size of your RV so you don’t have any issues with the campsite when you arrive!

memo: RVshare rental prices vary depending on location and vehicle. There are also usually cleaning fees, insurance coverage, and security deposits. You’ll want to factor all this into your vacation budget.

Here are five reasons you should consider renting an RV.

Spend screen-free time with your kids.

During one Hipside Kick’s stay at KOA, there was a jumping pad where the kids could have fun, socialize, and gather together. After a few days, the kids exchanged contact information and became pen pals!

Also consider bringing inexpensive screen-free games, coloring books, glow sticks, and sidewalk chalk. Some RV rentals even come with games!

You have flexibility when traveling.

Instead of pitching a tent and blowing up an air mattress, book an RV rental! Some RVshare rentals even deliver to your camping location so you don’t have to worry about towing a trailer. Choose a time and location and exchange contact information with the owner. It’s easy!

You can also rent an RV and take it on the road yourself, which is a great way to visit national parks and see interesting landmarks. You can also theme your RV road trip around your family’s interests, such as sports stadiums, state capitals, or amusement parks. There are so many options!

You can save on travel expenses.

One of the best things about camping is that it is budget-friendly. You can easily pack pre-made meals, and if you’re in an RV, you have a full kitchen, perfect for preparing your own meals and skipping the expensive restaurants on vacation!

Looking for delicious dessert ideas? Gather around the campfire and make delicious campfire cones!

In addition to meals, you can also save on hotel, rental car, and entertainment expenses.

Many RVs are pet friendly.

For many of us, our pets are also family and we love traveling and spending time with them! Many RV rentals are pet-friendly, so your pup can have a great time. 🐾 Not only will you save money by not having to live in dorms, have a pet sitter, or pay exorbitant hotel pet fees, but you also won’t have to worry about how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Consider a test drive before you buy.

Are you thinking about investing in an RV but not sure if it’s right for you? Renting allows you to try before you buy! You’ll find out how it will fit into your family’s lifestyle, how it will handle being on the road, what space it needs and other factors that are difficult to determine from a showroom visit alone.

Lina, a Hip Sidekick, used RVshare and found that renting an RV was a great way to save money and explore the countryside. 🚐

hello. Hi Lina, ✋🏼My wife and I used RVshare to secure our RV rental. I found a great owner on RVshare who was willing to deliver his recreational vehicle to Zion Canyon RV Park.

They installed it and took the time to show us everything we needed to know inside. I was very impressed with how clean the RV was when it was delivered. Our RV rental included a kitchen with a stove, oven, dishes, pots, pans, and everything else you need for cooking. It was the perfect way to explore the nearby national park!

It’s a great privilege to have your owner show you everything you need to have a successful trip. Whether it’s glamping with the girls or setting up luxury camping accommodation for hard-to-please teenagers. 😉 Plus, having a delivery option makes RVshare easier (if not easier) than using a hotel. Because the hotel is exactly where you want it to be!

And I liked that I didn’t have to fill the RV’s tank or attach it to my car because fuel costs are so high. RVshare shipping prices are not set. It depends on the RV owner, but rest assured there are no hidden shipping fees. The prices you see on RVshare.com are REAL prices!

As my kids get older, I want to spend more quality time with my family and have unique experiences. Was this the most economical choice? Maybe not. We could have stayed in a local hotel for a similar cost to a cozy RV, but it wouldn’t have been the same outdoor camping experience, so we figured it was worth it!

I was grateful to be able to spend time with my family while focusing on what really mattered: making memories together.

I bet these kids will never forget the vacation we took where we rented an RV and were all stuck together for three days and were in an area with limited WiFi. 🤣

We rented a 30-foot camper from RVshare a few summers ago. We rented a car in South Dakota and traveled to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Rocky Mountain National Parks. It was a blast and our family loved seeing the countryside rather than being stuck in the van. We thought we could save money this way instead of renting from another company. The owner was also nice to work with.
