International Jockey Championship: Ryan Moore wins in Hong Kong | racing news

Ryan Moore showed he is back on top with his third win at the Longines International Jockeys’ Championship in Happy Valley, Hong Kong.

The legendary jockey, who won in both 2009 and 2010, sealed victory aboard the aptly named Triumphant More.

Moore, 42, one of the best players in the world, only returned to the saddle a week ago after missing the second half of the flat season with a stress fracture in his femur. Although little time was wasted in collecting the prize with the winner at Lingfield that day.

Moore was one of a number of British riders taking part in the massive event which serves as a precursor to the big race at Sha Tin on Sunday and with two winners courtesy of Corleone and Triumphant More he topped the table after four legs.
