Over the past few months, we’ve been working on a new section of the website that will make a few things easier for our readers and introduce some features that people have requested in the past.
In this new ‘Readers Area’ you can:
- Save the article for future reference.
- Save your favorite images to create a personal lookbook or wishlist.
- Manage comment threads to receive notifications.
- PS Newsletter Subscription Management
- Track your past orders in PS Shop
Another small benefit is that you can view your reading history. So even if you don’t save the article, you can still go back and find something useful. It’s easier to add a profile image so your content appears consistent when you comment on articles.
The new area is currently active. You can access that area by clicking on the person’s image in the top right corner of the website.

We’ve been testing this for a while, but I’m sure there will be little issues to work out or processes that aren’t working as expected. In such cases, please let us know in the comments and our web development team will take action.
Of course, having a private area like this requires more details and how we handle this personal data is important. Please see Click here to view our privacy policyDescribes how your data will be processed.
I think the benefit that will be most popular with readers is the storage of articles and images.
Navigation is very simple, but is always limited by the taxonomy chosen. You may find that saving articles can be useful for building references for things like choosing fabrics for future commissions. For example, bookmarking items from a fabric guide and a specific review article together.
As with images, some readers already save photos around their PS to build a timeline of what to invest in, while others do so to remember ideas for outfits and combinations.

Most of the features may seem self-explanatory, but these two points should be explained:
favorite article
- To save an article, click ‘Add to Favorites’ at the top of the article.
- It will then appear in your ‘Favorite Articles’ list in your readers’ area.
- To remove it, click ‘Remove’ in that area or the same button at the top of the article.
favorite image
- To save an image, click on the bookmark symbol that appears when you hover your mouse over the image.
- Since rollover is not possible on mobile, you can click on the image to enlarge it or click the bookmark symbol.
- It will then appear in the ‘Favorite Images’ section of the reader area.
- To cancel saving, click the bookmark symbol in the reading area or in the original article.
I sincerely hope that this new feature will bring readers and the PS team closer than ever. This has always been a big part of what makes the site successful, and creating new features can only help.
If there are any new features you’d like to see, please let us know in the comments so we can create a roadmap for future improvements. Much like article suggestions in article comments, it all becomes a mutually beneficial feedback loop.
thank you Enjoy the new area.
Simon
