iPhone SE 4 appears in new photos and videos, notch and all

We may have gotten our best look at Apple’s next affordable iPhone SE. It appears in both videos and photos of a real phone or a convincing dummy device. Despite reports that the next SE will adopt the Dynamic Island Design from recent iPhones, the model appears to be sticking with the old notch.

Leaker Majin Bu shared a short video showing off Bright Daylight’s new phone over the weekend, and followed it up a day later with photos of the white and black versions. Like previous iPhone SE models, it only has a single rear camera, but it appears to be the first of the line to have a USB-C port. Now I need to sell the phone in the EU.

The biggest surprise is that the phone features Apple’s old notch display rather than the dynamic island design Leaker Evan Blass included. This is difficult to make clear in the video, but the positioning of the selfie camera right in the center matches the notch setup on the iPhone 14. Additionally, the leak itself confirmed the confirmation in its reply to the post.

This is our most obvious, but not our first look at the new SE. Sonny Dickson shared two photos of a similar SE 4 dummy unit for sale a couple of weeks ago.

The SE 4 is rumored to switch to an OLED display and is expected to include enough RAM to support Apple Intelligence features. Rumors are that it will be released around March or April, with SE 3 starting in March 2022.
