Iranian official says US-Iran talks ‘good progress’

Indirect talks between U.S. and Iranian officials in Geneva on Tuesday ended with the two sides agreeing on “a set of guiding principles,” according to Iran’s foreign minister.

“So I will be indirectly involved in those talks. And it will be very important. We will see what can happen. In general, Iran has been a very tough negotiator. “We were told that a deal was almost impossible.” “No, no. I think they want to make a deal. I don’t think they want the result of not doing a deal. They want to make a deal.”
