Jack Draper will work with Jamie Delgado, the former coach of Andy Murray, to make a big change in his team.
The UK NO.1 has long been a long -standing partnership with James Trotman, and while he continues to be involved, Delgado will take charge of the chief coach and participate in most tournaments with Draper.
Delgado, a former British Davis Cup player, who has a 23 consecutive Wimbledon male record, began working with Murray in 2016, with IVAN LendL, with the Scottish player, the most successful period of his career.
Delgado remained on Murray’s team until the end of the 2021 season and later coaches Denis Shapovalov and Grigor Dimitrov.
Both players highly appreciated the 48 -year -old Delgado’s influence, and Trotman wanted to spend more time at home, and Draper moved to secure the service after the long partnership with Dimitrov last month.
The agreement is scheduled to begin in the preseason, and Draper is struggling to recover due to the left arm problem that has been able to play only one game since Wimbledon.
After leaving the second round in the All England Club, Draper was diagnosed with bruises in the bones, and attempts to return to US Open ended in the second round before the season ended early.
This ended for the first time at the age of 23, and the hope of the ATP finals was finished, and the Draper fell to 8th place in the absence.
He will return to the court at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown Grand Final in London in December.
Where is Jack Draper’s next game?
Draper plans to return from the UTS Grand Finals in London in December after being offered a wild card.
This was after his arm injury, which had finished the promising 2025 season early, and after he had no choice but to abstain in the second round match against Zizou Bergs in the US Open.
The British who won the UTS Grand Final in 2023 will play at Copper Box on December 5-7.
DRAPER is currently ranked 8th ahead of the 24 major champions, Novak Djokovic, in the ATP single ranking, and is ranked 9th in ATP Live Race to Turin, but it is not possible to promote the Nitto Atp Finals debut.
