Jack Draper has been awarded a wild card for the National Bank Open in Montreal, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from Monday 3 August.
Draper earned one of the final wild cards alongside Canadians Alexis Galarneau and Liam Draxl as he continues his attempt to return from a left arm injury.
The former world number four has endured an injury-riddled 2026, missing all three Grand Slam tournaments, but enters the National Bank Open this week after a late withdrawal from the DC Open in Washington.
The Briton, who is coached by Sir Andy Murray, has fallen to world number 147 in the ATP rankings and will likely face qualifying when he plays at the US Open in September after missing out on qualifying.

Draper has played in five tour events this year alone, last playing at Eastbourne last month.
Before leaving Washington, Draper said, “I’ve been through an incredibly difficult 12 months, a lot of adversity, a lot of problem solving, a lot of pain, and trying to make sense of it and overcome it.”
“I’ve never had a long-term injury before, so I’m feeling a lot better than I ever have last year. I feel really good physically.”

Draper first left the tour a year ago with arm problems and has managed only a few tournaments since then, with knee and shoulder issues also hindering his return.
After missing the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon, Draper’s possibility of participating in the US Open, the last major tournament in 2026, has become uncertain.
