Jake Paul has been dropped from the WBA cruiserweight rankings after losing his heavyweight bout to Anthony Joshua in Miami last month.
Paul was stopped in the sixth round by former world champion Joshua, who was fighting for the first time since losing to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, rose to No. 14 in the cruiserweight rankings after defeating Julio Cesar Chavez last July and fought Joshua at the age of 15.
But now the American has been eliminated and Bosnia’s Edin Puhalo has moved up to 15th place.

Sky Sports’ Jonny Nelson said Paul’s knockout loss to Joshua was a ‘reality check’ for the American.
Paul broke his jaw in two places during his loss to Joshua, but insisted he won two rounds and “rocked” the former Olympic champion.
The 28-year-old said of his brother Logal Paul: impulsive Podcast: “It’s not that hard to get your a** beat. I won two rounds, he won two rounds, I got dropped.
“I was doing well. The cardio was just the mental pressure of a bigger guy, and sparring with bigger guys is different than 10-ounce gloves, so I felt a lot more of his power.”
“It was a great experience. I wish I had had more than three weeks to build muscle so I could hit him properly. My biggest mistake was not training at altitude.
“I’m a little disappointed because I can see where I could have done better, but I know how good he is. I rocked him at one point, but he raised his hand better in this fight.”
Paul’s professional record now stands at 12 wins and 2 losses, with another loss coming to Tommy Fury in February 2023.
