James Maddison has been left out of England's 26-man squad for Euro 2024 and has left the Three Lions camp.
The Tottenham midfielder is the first name in Gareth Southgate's 33-man provisional squad to fail to qualify for the final of the tournament in Germany.
Southgate has until 11pm on Friday to reduce his extended squad to 26 players. This comes an hour after England finished their Euro 2024 final friendly against Iceland at Wembley.
England begin their Euro 2024 campaign against Serbia on June 16.
Maddison has been named in Qatar's 26th squad for the 2022 World Cup and is awaiting action in a major tournament against England. However, he did not play before the Three Lions' run to the quarter-finals.
