Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin company has successfully launched the first rocket into orbit.
The reusable rocket, New Glenn, was originally scheduled to launch earlier this week but was delayed due to “vehicle subsystem issues.”
The mission was partially successful after the booster that propelled the rocket into space failed to land on a sea platform.
But it’s still a big step forward for Jeff Bezos and his company, which has spent years getting a rocket into orbit.
